wine
By the glass / by the bottle.
White
Loire Valley, France. Zippy, bone-dry Loire sauvignon: grapefruit, fresh-cut grass, and a flinty mineral streak. Everything you love about Sancerre, from just up the river.
Štajerska, Slovenia. A full liter of Slovenia's classic easy-drinker — a crisp white blend with orchard fruit and just a whisper of sweetness. If you like Riesling or Grüner Veltliner, this is your bottle.
Burgundy, France. Unoaked white Burgundy: ripe pear, lemon, white flowers. Chardonnay for people who think they don't like chardonnay — no butter, no oak, all freshness.
Rose Orange
Basque Country, Spain. Pale, brisk, and gently spritzy, with tart strawberry and a sea-salt snap. If you like bone-dry Provençal rosé but wish it had a little fizz, the Basques have you covered.
Mendocino, California. Organically farmed estate rosé — copper-pink with melon, wild strawberry, and bright citrus. Sunny and crisp, no overthinking required.
Kakheti, Georgia. Amber wine made the 8,000-year-old way: white grapes fermented on their skins in buried clay qvevri. Dried apricot, black tea, honey, and a grippy, savory finish. If you drink reds and you're curious about orange wine, start here — it has the structure of a light red.
Red
Beaujolais, France. A liter of juicy, chillable Beaujolais — crunchy red berries, soft tannins, zero pretension. If you like lighter pinot noir, meet its fun-loving cousin. Serve it cool.
Spain. Old-vine garnacha: ripe raspberry, black cherry, and warm spice, plush and generous. If you like Côtes du Rhône, this is the Spanish side of the same grape.
Tuscany, Italy. Pure sangiovese from a historic Montalcino estate — dark cherry, leather, dusty earth, lively acidity. If you like Chianti Classico, this is the same grape a step deeper: Brunello's younger, earlier-drinking sibling.
Stellenbosch, South Africa. Classic Stellenbosch cab: blackcurrant, cedar, cocoa, and a savory herbal edge. If you like Napa cab but want a little old-world restraint, South Africa splits the difference beautifully.
Sparkling
Burgundy, France. Traditional-method Burgundy bubbles — baked apple, brioche, and a fine, persistent mousse. Champagne's next-door neighbor at half the tab.
